What Does AQUATOX Look Like?

AQUATOX has a user friendly Windows environment which allows simulations to be created, modified, run, and saved quickly and easily.

Simply open a simulation file (or create one of your own)

the open screen

The simulation with all of its state variables then comes up on the screen for editing and running.

All of the state variables are then available for editing, both their loadings and the underlying data. There are hundreds of editable parameters in this model, but the user friendly interface makes this process easy to do and understand.

Next the model is run, and output can be viewed in either chart format:

Or it can be viewed in an editable graph. There are two graphs of output available. First, the user can view a control graph (shown below) in which the toxicant is not included in the study:

The user can then compare this control graph to a graph which shows results when the simulation is run with toxicants.
